My life's been unremarkable. I've just been letting everything wash over me lately, not that it matters.Look with me.

Thank you for all the many kindnesses extended to my daughter, Victoria, in her many years with you, both as a congregant and as a staff member. Your support and love will carry her along beautifully in her new role as Pastor at St. Anthony Park UCC, St. Paul. Special thanks to Pastor Don! Blessings!

Have seen your church for the past year now and I will make an effort to visit you in the upcoming weeks. Have been looking for a church home. Who knows, maybe I've found it.

Was reading the Star Tribune today and saw a bio on Chester O'Gorman, student at UTS and wanted to see what the church was like where Chester attended.

I've been to Lyndale UCC on two different Christmas Eves with my sister, Becca and regret that I have not made it back. It's a beautiful building and the people truly seem wonderful- I hope to find my way to Lyndale UCC again soon.

I drove past your church recently and was inspired to search for information online. I moved to my present address in the Lyndale neighborhood in May of 2005. I/we are currently attending a non-denominational, but (albeit lovingly) conservative church in Hastings, MN. As a lesbian couple, deeply in love with our God, we struggle within ourselves and within our church.
I have scoured your website. In reading the sermons posted, I was brought to tears, laughter, to celebration of likemindness and deep contemplation of our common questions of faith. I was faced, shockingly, with my own previously held beliefs about capital punishment being "wrong" in light of my wish that Hilter *had* been assisinated! I am not exaggerating when I share with you that at that moment the page before me blurred for a long stretch as I was splayed open to examine my own heart.
I will also say that, while I lean heavily in favor of sustainable living, my heart ached when I read that there has been consideration of tearing down your current sanctuary. There are too few beautifully designed churches in the world! I feel that graceful architecture such as the church that houses LUCC should be preserved and improved whenever possible! I don't know where your decisions rest, or if they do rest, at this point. My hope is that the congregation has voted to maintain the building on site and make whatever improvements are needed. I am interested in hearing the current status of this process.
I realize that I am speaking as an "outsider" in terms of not being a current member of your particular congregation. But as one new to your church neighborhood I have to add that the beauty of the LUCC church is what initially drew me to seek for more information about you. I know that asthetics aren't "everything". I also believe that it should be preserved in our uniquely beautiful and inspiring architecture.
I thank you for you efforts to make yourselves available and known in this medium, for it has afforded me time to reflect on your chosen content. It has given my a full-figured view, (as I imagine it at this point, anyway) of your diverse beliefs and the heart of Love that guides you.
With gratitude,
Angel

Found your ad in the Rainbow Families Quarterly. We have been looking for a opve been looking for a open and loving community for my partner and I as well as our two sons, both age 6. We are interested in learning more. Perhaps by coming to the informational meeting. More likely by coming to a service on a Sunday.
One question, are there any groups for gay and lesbian couples or parents. As well as groups for children of gay and lesbian parents?
We all look forward to our first experience at your church.
Sincerely,
Steven Adams
